Overlay Help Please....

Ever since the beginning of this wonderful sim for me I have not had a TeamSpeak Overlay working.....TeamFusion Overlay plugin, Overwolf, TSNotifier, TSOverlay...and today PlayClaw 5.....Each of these usually asks me to put a plugin into the TS3 plugin folder which I do and every time I start TeamSpeak and go to the plugin folder the overlay plugin is redded out (see pic below)...Its not only annoying but embarrassing when I have to keep asking folks who they are when I have flown with them for a while (Sorry Freya) as I am not good at voice recognition...It puts me off using TS

I have downloaded many different versions of TS3 from the archive all with the same issue

PanTast helped me the other night and and actually gave me his TS3 file with the same result..He came to the conclusion that there was some conflict within windows and nothing to do with TS3 or the Overlays which I think may well be the issue...

Any help would be appreciated...~S~

2 things happen constantly with TS plugins:
1.- If you use 32bits TS you must use 32bits plugins and the same applies to 64bits
2.- Every time TS updates to a new version, all the plugins have to be updated.

#2 is why I stopped supporting my plugins. I got sick and tired of having to release a new version just because TS changed a number.


Anyway, if you click on the "not working" plugin, it should give you the reason on the right.

I'm not good with this stuff at all, but here is what i pull up o my screen.

Maybe you need the "CLOD integration plugin" first (don't think it is what you are currently trying to put in).

(If you plug in an older version you can install the "WW II Plane Radio Effect", which adds a lot to the immersion for me.)

The releases showing on the link are the ones working with integrated CLOD plugin from Colander. Get your version (32 or 64 bit) and install. After instalation go to CLOD folder, copy the plugin (32 or 64 bit) to Teamspeak instalation folder and look for a folder called "plugins". Thats where you have to put it.

Ok, that is the 32 bit version.
If you are running TS in 64 bits, you'll need the 64 bits redist package.

Also, just to be sure, copy both versions of the plugin to the folder. That way one should load no matter what version (32 or 64) of TS you are using

I have also a question about the overlay. Following Lolsav's advice I installed TS3.0.13.1 and copied both plugins from CloD to TS3/plugins. So the cliffs of Dover integration plugin shows as activated in my plugin list inside TS3, but I cannot see who's speaking in-game.

Should I install other plugins or apps? Is there a list or install instructions? If anyone can, please point me in the right direction, for my squad is moving to TS3 and I would like to pass all the info to the players.

Just a thought:

If you get in the habit of using the I-I-P-T-A-R brevity protocol, then the need for the overlay goes away.

I am usually flying bombers so I have these printed out for my lapboard.

I spend a while figuring out a flight plan to target.
and then I fill in the Active Callsigns as I pick up who's in-channel.

If we were all in the habit of:
"To, From, Where, Altitude, Message"
Then the need for an overlay is much less.

EG
"Calais Traffic ; Blenheim Decay ; Feet Dry North Dunkirque, Angels Eight; six minutes to target requesting fighter escort to exit drop zone Cap Gris Nes six minutes"
or
"Spook, Decay; Contact Right 2 O'clock high angels fourteen"
