DCS - The Final Frontier Trailer

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHBIhvTfkb4

A short trailer for DCS World I did for fun. After watching Interstellar's third trailer, I felt inspired to create something with Thomas Bergersen's incredible music. Featuring my favourite aircraft by Eagle Dynamics, Belsimtek, and Leatherneck Sims.

Great video as usual Chuck. Some things you might want to consider in your next video (Don't take this badly, just as constructive criticism, I really enjoy all your vids and I happen to have taken a few film courses.)

    1. The camera shots are great, but it's missing something: shake. Even just a tiny bit of shake when a plane come past the middle of the screen will help.
    2. Zoom in a bit more in the cockpit shots to give more immersion and the sense of speed. about 50-70 degrees FOV is probably good. The shots in the P-51 are quite far back and decreases from the immersion.
    3. Colours. Saturate them a bit, but turn the brightness down. Also, adding a very small vignette gives a very nice effect.

Apart from that, everything is great! Awesome editing to match the music and I love the music as well!

Re: DCS - The Final Frontier Trailer

Thank you guys for the compliments. Much appreciated, as always.

I'll take your advice into consideration, Flare, like I told you in the chat bar. I think I gotta be careful with the shaky cam though because it's easy to make it just ineffective.

It's very hard to give a proper sense of speed when the camera is static.
