Do any of the maps have player AAA activated on the ships?

on several maps the ships are mission targets yet we cannot man the guns as far as I can tell, yet blue ships are manned on certain maps?

Can anyone clear this conundrum up, as it would be helpful to actually defend the ships?

Not entirely sure, on Relinquish 6 of the 8 British Navy ships have some type of weapon on board. To man ship guns, you have to be near them when you hit esc, although I've heard only blue can do this... not sure though.

Yes, the blue side is able to do this. However, no idea about red. To this I must crash / esc / or parachute - if I remember correctly - up to 10km from the target.

Ok, then something must be missing on the red side, so far I have not been able to man a ships gun despite your technique?
