Update planned for this weekend, any requests/suggestions/observations etc, now's the time! So far nothing major is planned, just adding some statics (off-bases), double checking NDB's and removing some if necessary.
Suggestions:
1. New spawning points at all RAF airfields and test, test , test them.
2. Reduce wind speed or change direction to align better with runways at available RAF fields.
3. Place the new spawning points with wind direction in mind. I hate loosing more a/c to taxing accidents than en action.
4. RADAR. For both sides and make it an implied objective.
1- Rgr that. I may revert some back to defaults, it seems these things are always buggy no matter what I do.
2&3- This mission has dynamic time, wind speed/direction and clouds. I can tweak it to make the wind lighter and narrow down the direction. I'll try to suit it for the majority of airfields, but likely half will still end up at the wrong side. Lighter winds should help though..
4- That's a future consideration (next version ), and a big part of the reason I'm doing some updates this weekend. This mission requires the most work in the case of radar, due to the front lines being where they are. Stay tuned, it'll be happening eventually!
Thanks for the reply Rob!
Freya,
Maybe limiting the wind to +-15° of 270 and wind strength to 0m/s to 5m/s would go a long way. By the way I love the dynamic weather but it always seems that it is a 10m/s wind from 180° making take off a pain!
Looking forward to RADAR

Update sent. V2.2
-Wind is light from the west, medium clouds, mission start is 0700. Yes, it's early. (no more dynamic weather - at least for this version, I couldn't get my brain around it )
-Radar placed for both sides, for use with the new radar utility. Details of locations in the briefings.
-Fixed missing hurricanes from Gravesend
-some more guns on blue ships
-minor re-locating of some static objects
Please let me or Ezzie know if there is any issues that need attention, I don't get to play this one very much so player input is key!

Update 2.3 enroute ASAP (2 weeks ). Thanks to 69th_Redhawk, some issues were brought forth that will require attention. Eastchurch will be made destroyable, Wilmington strengthened to match Eastchurch, and Lympne will not show 'Bembridge' name when destroyed. Please notify us (Ezzie and/or me) of any other concerns, errors, or changes that would enhance gameplay in a fair manner.
PS - tab 4-1 radar addition still to come
The british shipping convoy was upside down for me yesterday
My bombs will find you!
Hi Art,
Thanks for the post. Unfortunately this issue is not a map issue (ie Freya or I can't do anything about it) and is a known bug/ issue / 'interesting' feature of COD. I think upside down ships have been logged in the bug tracker but am not sure if anyone in TF has figured out how to fix them yet.
Ezzie
Understood, I'll treat em as submarines then
My bombs will find you!
Could we have G 50s and Br20's country be Italy instead of Germany?
Could we have some defensive AAA at Oye Plage as some persistent RAF will follow you all the way home
Tank Park one is still located at AP 25.5? east of Biggan Hill, but briefing says AQ 26.1 putting it sw of Gravesend.
Start time of 0900 instead of 0700?
Thanks for all the work!
