    White smoke/cloud buggy thing

    Hi
This has been around for some time, it's also one of those very intermittent little glitches.
    Any ideas? Nvidia GPU.

Is it in the bugtracker at all?

See that quite often while sitting on the bofors, always with spitfires coming in to land with a big white sparkling cloud surrounding it. It looks like an artifact of cooling system damage.

Have seen it happen quite a few times too (Nvidia as well). I think it's more related to wingtip vortices than cooling system though, it seems to happen on the verge of stall, during stall or during very hard turns.

It happens in multiplayer only, right? Ive seen it myself, like many others, seems to be a lag issue, more than anything else. This is a opinion, might not be whats really happening. Just pointing it out as a clue.

Lag as in Ping-related? Yesterday it happened repeatedly with a spitty that I'm pretty sure was flown by No.310_Monty. Checking my footage, I was checking the stats earlier in the sortie and we were both sporting the same 138 ping, which seems reasonable.
It happened on the top of every of his zoom climbs, when he was stalling.
I'll keep the video on my HDD in case it's needed.

Ping isnt evrything. It helps a lot, but isnt all. Quality of connection (a stable and without fluctuation ping its a good indicator) might count more. Also, just imagine his fps (or yours) were dropping suddendly at that precise moment, causing a hickup on information sent and received by the server and only after that sent to you... or it could be server related. Many variables here, but as i said before, it seems to be a multiplayer issue only.
