Hi guys I am new here and thanks to the help of the ATAG crew I finally got this game up and running. You may have met me before on games such as CFS2, CFS3, War Thunder, IL2 BOS or DCS. Regardless I am dabbling more and more on your ATAG server. I usually fly German just to even out the teams and also to concentrate on one plane and one area of the map at a time.

Navigation is still tricky as I have never been or seen England or France in real life and other than major cities I am geographically illiterate of that area.

Spotting, I am still trying to find out how my wing leaders can spot targets 3000m below us. I can only spot targets 2000m or less (with luck).

I have assisted in shooting down a Hurricane so far but no stand Alone victories.
I have crashed a few times and melted, over torqued, over revved and just plain blow my engine more than a few times but I am enjoying the challenge of getting all aspects correct.

Great to hear you are enjoying yourself on the ATAG server. Spotting / contact identification is always a challenge - in case you are not aware as well as the default views of 30deg (ie zoomed in), 60 degrees and 90 degrees there is a setting you should have set up somewhere handy on your controls for 'field of view +' and 'field of view -'. The former allows you to incrementally zoom in much further than 30degrees and is excellent for identifying whether its a 109 or a spit (etc) that you are chasing from afar.

Hi CY First have your monitor color calibrate with the calibrate color on the control panel Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display

It help me a lot.

If you really hungry for kill and want to spot at people spawning 50 miles away you can downgrade your res one notch ie if you run at 1080p drop it to 720p
