Press Esc after a mission and COD freezes

I tried with no success to install a Demo campaign from Desastersoft.
Uninstalled it but still shows Desaster Campaign in the menu.

Then installed Heinki Campaign , played for a bit.
When I hit esc to finish the mission either in campaign or single missions COD freezes.

Any ideas how to solve this?

I have that too occasionally, but not every time. It's very annoying but nobody seems to know what's causing it.

I get this...Not much I can do about it...haven't really looked into it...just saying...you are not on your own....it came when I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7...
