    Being Grateful

may I just say a thank you to the folks at team fusion.for the work they have done to IL2 COD. not to mention the amazing pilots On the ATAG website and sever. I have enjoyed playing IL2 COD beyond words and if it was not for the people pouring in HOURS OF THERE FREE TIME and injecting LIFE into a game . IF it wasn't for these folks. I wonder where the people would go to too BITCH MOAN AND COMPLAIN about waiting for the next up grade. I feel I speak for many. THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HARD WORK AND HOURS OF CODE YOU HAVE PUT INTO THIS FLIGHT SIM AND GIVING MANY PILOTS SUCH AS MYSELF. HOURS of comrade and learning about the heroisem of the PILOTS from both sides giving there life for the country. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU. any further up dates that may come from your team. MOST are deeply grateful for what you all do and please don't let the bitching of this and that. Kill the amazing work you do...

May give up once we release the Pacific Campaign in 2025 (just speculation!) )....but so-far we're still digging deep and appreciating feedback like this, cheers, MP

Welcome to the community and forums jendar ...~S~

Checkout the 'Beginners Guide'...for info and tips...It will save you a heap of time in getting up to scratch.....and its a really fun learning curve anyway..

    Beginners Guide Link Here

    Windows Management Guide

Also try youtube for startup procedures on all the aircraft...

I recommend getting in the online server as soon as you can take off if that's ultimately where you'd like to fly...I flew single player for 30 minutes before I took the plunge...The ATAG online server is a great environment to learn and there's not really any damage you can do in there as a new player.....It is also mission based just with real players trying to foil your objectives...If you are concerned then pick an airstrip furthest from the front line (there always is one or two on every map) and get some alt before you go hunting...You'll get tagged a lot but there are tricks you learn out of pure desperation in those first few weeks that you'll be able to use later...I know cos I still use the same tricks I learned then too because they work...and never underestimate the stall to get you out of a tight fix...That sometimes works too...TeamSpeak is optional but you'll learn a whole lot faster with it even if you say very little....

    Re: Being Grateful

Indeed a great introduction post man!!!

Welcome to the online community Jendar!
The whole Stab I./JG 51 wish you to have tons of fun during your online experience!
In the case you will need help to getting started with the game or you want to team-up with other virtual pilots join Teamspeak and you will find a lot of senior pilots available to help you moving the first steps in the game.
Personally speaking feel free to contact any of our pilots ( recognizable by the Stab I./JG 51 tag preceding their usernames ) every time that you could need help we will be more than happy to help you, if in our possibilities!
Normally you can find us on the Storm of War TeamSpeak server ( address: 85.236.101.5:10427 password: stormofwar ) in our dedicated channel ( Stab I./JG51 ) or on the ATAG TeamSpeak server ( Address: 216.52.148.29 no password required ).

    Welcome aboard!

    Salute!

    Re: Being Grateful

Welcome aboard lad! And I will gladly reiterate what you said. The only thing preventing me from fully enjoying "The Team Fusion Experience" is the fact that my PC setups are bad
Nevertheless, I fully understand what the TF guys are doing and putting into this, and frankly it is nothing short of incredible and awesome. They have stuck together way more than Maddox Ubisoft and 1C!
Here here for the excellent opening comment

Welcome to the club, Jendar. Your encouragement is very welcome and I can not imagine that anybody would dislike (even when I took notice today that there might be one or two)

    Re: Being Grateful

I'm firing up this one again as well and would like to thank Team Fusion and the guys on this site for keeping all this going. I've been playing BOS for awhile now....and a change every now and then would do us good. It's nice to see a positive heading on a post...."being grateful"....thanks again guys.

Greeting Rich..Hope you are well. I've got some stick mapping to do and some setting up, but I should be in the not so friendly skies over the channel..sometime soon. Hope all is well for you. We've ordered a transport load of sand filters for our aircraft...waiting for the update with excitement. Good things come to those who wait.

    Re: Being Grateful

Personally I am amazed that people can be so ungrateful. TF, unpaid and in their free time, have done things with this game that the original professional programmers with full access to the source code said were impossible. Almost all the bugs are fixed, it handles at least twice as many players online, has better graphics yet still runs faster than the original! Take your time, take a holiday; I will wait and be grateful.
