That's one sexy plane for sure!
It's a coincident or in the few months 3D modelling works are going pretty fast? Good news.
Anyway will be interesting to spray paint that model. Lots of good liveries.

Oh...Momma!
That looks fantastic. I love the 109F, and can't wait to trade in my E-4 for one. I probably missed it through all the past announcements, but what variant of the F is being modeled?

Thanks for sharing the pics MP.
I like the 'Friedrich' series as it was the best looking 109 before all the bumps and lumps were added.

109's we are planning to model: (assuming everything goes according to plan)
109E-7 with drop tank
109E-7 Trop (tropical)
109E-7N with drop tank
109E-7NZ GM-1 (NoS) version
109F-1 (with MG/FFM in nose) DB601N engine
109F-2 (with MG151/15mm in nose) DB601N engine
109F-2 (with MG151/20mm in nose) DB601N engine
109F-2 Trop (tropical with MG151/20mm in nose) DB601N engine
109F-4 Early DB601E engine limited to 1.30ata boost
109F-4 Early Trop (tropical) DB601E engine limited to 1.30ata boost
109F-4 DB601E engine
109F-4 Trop (tropical) DB601E engine
The model looks absolutely astounding! The F and G-1/2 models are my absolute favorites and I am betting my ass TF is gonna put to shame all the other sims on the market with their interpretation. Keep it up Bendwick, Buzzsaw and co!

Yes but I knew that the modification was only to give the choice in changing the cannon type if needed on the field, didn't know that some f2 come out of factory with 20mm installed. I would be interested in going deep in the tipic. Do you have some references to know more about it?

There was no such Vers. 109F-2 Trop was in the planning, but NEVER went in series. All the others are taken from the air, as with Nowarra 109E-2 with Motorkanone.
There were 109F-4/Z with DB601E and DB601Q, as well as 109F-4 / Trop with DB601Q, but last in few numbers.

Of course could do all this in the field and the gunmen did this too. Somewhere in Doku even the time, which one needed for it 15mm to change the gun barrel to 20mm...~10-15min.
There was only a gun barrel with Panzerrohr (an intermediate piece between the airscrew gearbox and the rear part of the engine block or gun mount), nothing else.

Here (a Bf109F-2 J.G.54, East front) weapon maintenance at the exchange 15mm to 20mm ... on petrol tank, stands Panzerrohr for gun barrel .
