Awe inspiring Larry
There is a lot to like in TF CLOD. Sometimes you just have to slow down and look for the details and beauty of it.

No other Flight Sim comes close to the depth of TF CLOD. This looks like a picture I might take on Holiday.
I love when one of the bombers loses an engine and the prop stops. It almost looks like the AI feathered it.
Never was so much owed by so many, Hardcore Flight Simmers, to so few, Hardcore TF Modders!!!Thanks for all of your hard work TF members!!!

28.October 1940. (ACG Mission Nr. 47.) 10.5.2015
Ob. Lt. Sigfried "Pitti" Fröhlich of Stab JG 26 taken POW.
In his report, he wrote:
"I took off at 0922 together with Adjutant MarLeo from Audembert. We gathered over Calais with te 4th Staffel and 6./ZG76 which we were about top escort to an attack on Manston airfield. While the other Staffeln of JG26 were flying free hunts more westward apart from 7th Staffel which were to make a Jabo attack on Canterbury airfield.
Me and MarLeo hadn't visual on 4./JG26 and 6./ZG76 while on their way to the target and on their attacks but the results of their successful attacks were visible to us even from high altitude.
We heared many reports ver the radio that the other Staffeln are engaged with the enemeis. I hadn't spotted a single enemey aircraft. So we kept on patrolling between Manston and Dover.
Suddenly a spotted several Spitfires above and behind us near Deal. We were flying at 6000m. We climbed and turned towards them while suddenly I was hit be a Spitfire from behind which caused ligth damagd to my 109. I looked around a saw another Spitfire attacking MarLeo. We decided to dive homewards when suddenly I was hit again while looking back to check the status of MarLeo. My 109 was set on fire and flames were hitting my face.
I bailed out from 5000m and hit the ground near Deal. Some british farmers spotted me and beat me with there pitchforks and looked me into a barn. Some hours later british military personal came and brought me to prison.
So tahts it ... I'm a POW now."
At ACG we do not rely on server-statistics but written reports that each pilot writes after his missions. Victories have to be confirmed by your commrades and each pilot gets assigned a unique virtual character with only one life that collects sorties, victory claims and medals. You'll get attached to your characters over time. How does that work? Let's have a look at our pilot- and mission database and read through some of the reports or have a look at some of the character profiles. http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/acg-pam
