    selling Thrustmaster Warthog extensions

    Hi All,

Ok, here we go. If you want to squeze the maximum out of your Warthog consider an extension. From time to time I have some on stock. BoS is just about to launch thats why I thought maybe someone will be interested, if yes then drop me a PM or e-mail : Sahajdaczny@hotmail.com

Usually three standard sizes are available :

    - 15 cm

    - 10 cm

    - 7,5 cm

    - extenison cable is included

    - generally, if you are VERY interested we can speak about non-standard sizes aswell.

    - payment via PayPal is possible to answer an important question in advance.

    - shipping is from inside the European Union.

After a period of adoption an extension will greatly improve precision on your Warthog. The original Warthog-throw is too short to fully exploit Warthog's unique high resolution. Furthermore the high resistance force of the main spring is also automatically reduced by the extension and you will get a better overall feeling (micro corrections) of handling the plane. Finally your Warthog becomes a whole new better stick.

P.S. You can also follow up on RoF forum : http://riseofflight.com/Forum/viewto...35432&start=10

    Re: selling Thrustmaster Warthog extensions

    Hi buddy, long time.
Do you think it would be possible to use a longer extension, let's say 50 cm or so. This should allow people to "fix" the stick on the floor and use it while they're sitting. I'm a warthog owner but mine is taking the dust (I used it just a couple of hours) since I prefer the old MFF2 so I'm just wondering.

    Re: selling Thrustmaster Warthog extensions

I have one of these extensions (the 15) and can vouch that Sahaj does fine work. Mine goes together quick and easy and I must say adds some precision to the stick allowing better use of all those postions in the bit rate. It was for the center mount of a Rev3 Obutto I have on order as shown in the pix (without extension).

Gladio, You would not want one that long (floor) as it would be too much I think. I wanted a longer one (doesn't everyone ) but Sahaj talked me into trying the 15cm first. Glad I did.

    Aus3620,

X-52 have the complication that his "neck" is the support for the coil, so you need cut the tube above this part to fit the extension,
what mean inside grip, and there are the potentiometer for the twist rudder...

This picture give you a idea: http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/5815/p1010666f.jpg

Look at (DCS) Eagle forums, are some modifications done by helicopters pilots.

    Hi Gladio,

50 cm ? wow, no one asked for that size before. I imagine there would be as good as no spring force with such a long extension but it ought to be possible in theory.

Recently I made one with an engraving on it, for a guy from Scotland :

    Re: selling Thrustmaster Warthog extensions

I've have just ordered a 10cm extension from Sahaj and am waiting impatiently
to see what improvement it makes to the warthog experience.
    fingers crossed.

I told my wife that I was getting an extension for my thrustmaster and she was thrilled, I can't figure why??

    Thanks Sahaj,
Extension working well, Im very pleased with it. Lovely work.
One small problem is that in the heat of battle the stick can move (unscrew) at the
top of the extension, I don't seem to be able to get ot tight enough by hand.
    No biggy though.
    cheers,
    Ibis.

LockTite will glue it, but still you would be able to take it off with some effort

    Re: selling Thrustmaster Warthog extensions

Got my extension a few days ago and played with it for a bit. Nice quality, the cable comes already adjusted to proper length.

In my opinion an extension seems almost a must have for Warthog. It allows you to make smoother, more precise movements and due to the lever effect you don't need to fight the stick so much. Keeping it in one place is also easier and if you let it go for just a bit you don't need to be so careful for it to spring back too much. The Warthog spring force is very strong out of the box and the extension brings it to more acceptable levels for me. Because of this, dogfighting does not feel like an arm wrestling match anymore.

Oh, and I got a 7,5 cm extension. I have not tried any others, but I think longer ones might make the spring force too weak for me. Perhaps for helicopters or WWII planes that would be desirable, but for jets and some WWII simming, the 7,5 cm seems like a good compromise.

Another plus is that you can then easily use the stick in a central position and make yourself comfortable The extension also allows for a twist offset to make this position even more comfortable.

Thank you for following the topic guys, a little update :

Make something special for your virtual squadron and get some unique squadron hoodies, express your virtual squadron unity !

    • Unitary hoodies for your entire virtual squadron
    • Including custom squadron logo
    • Your in-game nick/name
    • Optionally a military rank system consisting of officer cadets, officers and senior officers
    • High quality material
    • Handmade inside EU

All further possible questions please direct to me via forums, email or the contact form on my website : http://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/custom-hoodies/

However I am sure after exchanging some basic information with the squadron representative I will be able to give you the estimated pricing. Bear in mind that the processing time of individual orders will be significantly longer than standard orders.

Basic materials will be solid black or dark green but on demand I can use one of the camo materials.
