Hey guys
Ok I' ve had this bug since one of the last official patches. I have reinstalled CloD at least two times since then, plus all the TF patches. I didn' t pay much attention to it since it is only in single player, and I was using single for training only.
Whenever my engine gets damaged in combat, my aircraft gets teleported to the ground some minutes later. Depending on the starting altitude, I either find myself crashed into the ground or at very low altitude.
Here is a track were I reproduced the event. It happens every time the engine gets damage, in 109 and 110. Didn' test any other airplane for this.
Anyone got a clue how I can get rid of this? I want to try some TF single player campaign...:(

Well I've never seen that before:stunned: (and I have several missions that deliberately damage engines via script)
Is this only with E3? or does this affect other planes also?

This happens online also. I've had it happen in 109s, 110s, and 111s.

Hi ElGringo,

thank you for reporting this bug! To faciliate and organize bug reports, we have established a bugtracker here at http://tfbt.nuvturais.de. May I kindly ask you to create a new issue with this bug? And, if you haven't done so already, please do read the guidelines here first: http://tfbt.nuvturais.de/projects/il2clodtf/boards/4.

And please include a link back to this thread in the description, so that people can find the discussion here.

Would you please test this with other airplanes, too? Just to find out if it affects more than just the 109 and 110 and, if yes, which ones?

Thank you very much,
Artist

I was able to reproduce this issue with all the planes I have tested so far (He-111H and P Ju-88, Blenheim IVf). I will continue with the testing but I think it is safe to assume that all the planes are concerned. Also, it is not just battle damages, even overheating the engine will trigger it. I don' t know if the trigger is engine or radiator damage, but it is one or the other.
