Looks almost like the same software used in WT? Going to be interesting to see how the feedback goes on the forums, here and there. I remember saying I liked the visual effects in Wings of Prey from which War Thunder is derived...and getting slated because (I was flamed and trolled) it should really have been called "Wings of Puke" due to the graphics! Now it seems, as the graphics are on a different labelled game....well it looks great? Personally I really like them. It's great to see a thick, opaque overcast clouded area. Well done BoS :)

BTW, someone mentioned there, that the bug is already reported (few times) to the dev team...

Yeah it's no doubt a bug introduced with the new cloud render they've just put into the game. I'm sure they'll get it fixed up in due course. Is kind of annoying right now alright.

I don't think the blurriness will persist for too long, it is too big of a issue to ignore either way.

The sim is only 46% done for pete's sake, lets not assume that any bug that exists now is going to persist into the release version.

It is 46 % ready to get published as a complete game, I guess they going to add more plane and fix those bugs. I also hope they do something with the FM on the German planes, personally don't like them.
I guess we know when its declared 100% , that % counting is more a show for the public, don't think it is any kind of mathematic involved

They will give an announcement soon. I bet the release is in two months maximum.

They can stick 23% if they want that's just marketing nothing else.

Perhaps, the only people who actually know the release date are the developers themselves.

Either way, even if they release tomorrow, development does not stop, you can bet that (like Rise of Flight before it), development will continue as long as is feasible.

As far as the blurry clouds, they have been refining them, I am sure that they will continue to refine them until the blurry issue is gone.

I'm fairly certain that Bos is using the same middleware for the clouds that War Thunder and ARMA is using. I don't know how solvable the blurriness issue is with that middleware, but both of those games suffer from the same problem.

I havent noticed this, but I fly full realism and PE-2 so when I see a plane it is usually too late and I die :) . My main concern is how they going to handle multiplayer and if there going to be a FMB that is useful and possible to make missions in.
Personally I think the blurriness you all talks about is due to wrong LOD in different distances, the models are low pixel too close and goes high resolution too close. The plane model itself holds the same or better quality as CLOD, but the pit is somehow less developed
They may have done this because of fps drop or something.
In this point CLOD is far ahead, frankly if they had released CLOD now when everybody got a rig to run it, Clod might very well been a success

Physically accurate shaders. Look at the color of specular highlights in BoS.

The SSR on the exterior of the BoS planes is nice though. I hope we can add it to clod (this is not an official TF statement, just a dream)

Yes you are right, I could not figure out what it was . It is excellent. IT is obvious they got problems with the game engine witch inflict MP , trim , FPS and some other small stuff.
I love the physics and G forces experience you get in some of the Russian planes. I can't help get the feeling that this sim got huge potential but will not somehow reach it.
Same feeling I got when CLOD was released.
I hope I am wrong
