Launcher Crash on Startup

A friend of mine is having issues getting the game running.

Things we've tried:
Reinstalled .Net Framework, pass verification
Updated DirectX
Updated Video card drivers.

Event Viewer shows a .Net Framework Crash

If you think a dxdiag will help, I can provide.

Any help is appreciated.

Which OS is he running and is it up to date?
perhaps a x32-.net framework was installed onto a x64 OS or vice versa?

How is ur friend going, any joy yet ?

I've recently had a few of these, it turned out it was tsnotifier running at the same time. I solved it by updating to the latest version. Maybe its not that specific app, but it may be worthwhile looking at other concurrently running apps your friend may have.

He said he was going to wait for the new patch but I
will tell him and hopefully this will get him up in the air.
