I was wondering if there are any training videos here or online somewhere that show the fundamentals of starting each of the aircraft and the CEM mechanics to keep from destroying the engine. I know Youtube and DCS in game training were invaluable to my learning the DCS A-10C..............

Thanks for any and all help. I'd hate to ask someone to show me the ropes, I'm not sure when my time would correlate with anyone else, I'm west coast USA and I'm in the rack early, do to a 0400 reveille call.

Cheers

Welcome to the community and forums AG-51 Hoss....~S~

Just check youtube...Type in 'IL2 Cliffs of Dover startup'.....Brings them all up

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=IL2+Cliffs+of+Dover+startup

But before you do that..

Checkout the 'Beginners Guide'...for info and tips...It should save you a heap of time in getting up to scratch.....and its a really fun learning curve anyway..

Beginners Guide Link Here (http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5058&p=52711)

Also try youtube for startup procedures on all the aircraft...

Any questions then you've come to the right place....

Good to have you with us buddy...and remember its all about the Fun!!!

Thanks guys, appreciate the replies............. that all looks like really good stuff, I'll need to sit and watch the videos and read the posts. I also need to get familure with the FMB in this iteration of IL2 and start making my own training missions. Just have to learn where to find them once I'm done. I put some really nice skins in the game and don't see them, I know it's not rocket science but there is a learning curve.

Thanks again guys

Hi Hoss,
There are usually very helpful folk on Teamspeak. Don't be shy, see if there is any1 who can give u some 1 on 1. The videos and tutorials are good and following up with some live, real time instruction will give u a leg up along the learning curve.
