Fire extinguisher

Hi,

Was in a a fight today where every time I got this 109 in my sights, his fire extinguisher went off, making it impossible to get a a bead on him and killing my frame rate as i flew through it. Is this a bug? He claimed to have no idea what was going on..

Contrary to popular belief, the Bf109 has no fire extinguisher system that you can initiate manually (and intentionaly).

It is a well know bug however and kills your fps and makes your life difficult.

Yep - It's a graphics bug. I have no idea what causes it, but I've seen it on anything from human controlled planes to AI planes not doing anything but flying in a straight line.

Yep - It's a graphics bug. I have no idea what causes it...

Contrails, them seem to start whenever you pull high G's or are close to stall amd at any altitude... They are only thin whispy lines looking out of the pit but they are massive streaks for anyone else.

Ive seen spits and hurris make them also but Im sure the 109's are by fay the worst...
