TF Campaign query

Tried the Team Fusion campaign today and could not figure out how to change any of the aircraft parameters esp. fuel and gun load outs. Having fuel fixed at 100% creates a real challenge for me in a Spit....cant get off the ground! 7 prop strikes in a row as the ground speed just never came up high enough for lift off. Anyway, is it possible to change the settings?

You should be able to take off fine with full fuel.
Sounds like it could be your prop pitch set incorrectly for takeoff, should be what I believe is referred to as fully " Fine", or 100% on the HUD readout.

The weapons and fuel loadout are set in the mission parameters, and can not be modified in the mission gui. I believe they can be by loading the mission in the FMB and adjusting from there, but I am not familiar with how that is done.
