The "springy thing" @ 4:11 ....? An arificial horizon for looking at the 6? or what? I've never seen/heard of that.. curious to know more!

(coat hanger? anti spill drink holder? g-force indicator? Were they looking at their six that much that they needed field made instruments back there?)

This is histomod and Freddy´s excellent pits. It are releast these days and are based on version 4.09 and it contain complex startup and bailout procedures you need to open your canopy and push the stick forward for bailing out

Interesting how the magneto switch on Bf 109 is used (1:45), in different way than in "current practices". :D
