I think we all know how important proper ID's of planes can be, so with that in mind I thought maybe I would produce some dash pics of spotter cards, here is just a quick mock up of it with the 109 card. If there is some real interest in having these I will proceed in making the rest, might be something useful to newbie and experience pilots alike.

I'd like this, but still can't figure out how to make any of the dashpics to show up :(

PS - I like the new signature PanTast! 109s sure look nice on fire.

Thanks Flare

Dash pics: go to

F:\~\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\DashPics
There you find two folders.
*Templates
*Selected

Just choose one of the templates, modify it to your taste and save it as 1.tga into the Selected folder.

Easy peasy :D

Thanks, geez I guess I forgot to finish these up  let me know if anything looks off, or I forgot to take the background off etc. One thing I am not sure about is the sizing, I'm not sure about how many pixels there are per inch in relation to scale of the cockpit, if that makes sense. I think it might be close, but maybe a bit on the small side, not sure.

Hey Mudcat,

Cool idea.

Nice execution.

I have a launcher script that I use to rotate dashpics before CLOD starts: Over in the Utilities threads (http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=867&page=2)

As far as sizing - I reckon try to make them close to full height with just enough sticky tape to be plausible.
Dont worry about correct to cockpit scale, this is a particular thing for folks learning WEFT (Wrong Every F'ing Time).
Resolutoin counts and you've only got 256 pixels.
