Problem installing TF 4.312

New computer, new install Cod. All good until MOD Installer TF 4.312.exe. "Folder does not contain a COD installation". Repeated several times. Opening CoD I see lower right v 4.30. That really makes me happy. I am 77 and my memory failing me so deleted RoF and BoS. The BoB is a major favorite of mine to read and now experience. All advice welcome, thanks in advance.

My first question is did you follow this list of instructions including installing patch v3.00 and running it, then v3.01, etc,etc?

At least thats what i understood from his post. Now to aid our friend we need to tell him to point the installer to where STEAM Cliffs of Dover is installed.

You have to browse (point) the installer to where the game is installed. Im at work, o i cannot provide the "usual" instalation folder.

Edit: I was wrong, went reading again and now i think he did the usual instalation procedure. But the answer should be as Mindle points below.

I assumed above ATAG-Mindle message was correct address to install TF4.312. Install panel label "Team Fusion CLOD Mod Installer - TF4.312", typed "Computer/ etc", click install, then ERROR "Folder does not contain a Cliff of Dover Installation". Any advice appreciated..many thanks...

Erm.. Can you search for the folder you installed the game into?

I get ERROR "Folder does not Contain a Cliff of Dover Installation" when I try to install TF 4.312. I am thinking of complete, from the DVD, reinstall after watching ATAG video saying start CoD after each patch..did not know that or even reinstalling each patch over previous ones. What bothers me is I had no problem installing these patches last May before my old PC died. Have new one now and not sure what is happening. I appreciate all advice.thanks

A possibility is that 4.3 was somehow corrupted.
I would try to re-download it and re-apply it.

I've just installed CLOD via Steam with no problems - all is working well.

Your superb patches have been applied faultlessly apart from the final one - 4.312

When I fire the exe, I get the following message:

'Folder does not contain the pre-requisite MOD Version'

I've downloaded the TF_Patch_4.312 twice and had the same result both times.

Any ideas?

Can you check if its pointing to the right path/folder? Ive read some other folks had some trouble with that because of wrong path on the last update.

When the exe is executed, a destination box does come up and it is pointing to my CLOD folder. When I click on 'Install' the message as per my post comes up.

All the previous patches have installed without problem.

Fire up the game and on main menu screen, on bottom right check what version is installed, just to be sure.

Thanks for your help and problem solved. Looking at the version was the key. I thought I had installed 4.3 but had only got as far as 4.0

Installed 4.3 and 4.312 sat nicely on top.

Now to do some flying!
