I like the game because it's fun and casual.
What I prefer is that you can get real games and steam giftcards via trading.
The game itself is free, you just have to buy a $0.50 item in game in order to trade. You get items at random, and if they are desirable, you can trade them for real games and giftcards with collector nerds over steam. (One of my friends has never bought a game on steam and now has 30 thanks to TF2 trading!)
What's better, is if you get a real good item, you can put it up on ebay! lol
