Last week on the ATAG server, a flight of Stukas took off from Calais Marques and headed for Kent. Their mission: To destroy the remnants of a previously attacked squadron of Blenheims at RAF Ramsgate and damage RAF Manston.

The Stuka pilots were IIRC ATAG_Headshot, ATAG_Septic, myself and a fourth pilot. We flew quite a few sorties in Stukas that evening, which unexpectedly turned out to be a great succes.

The music is a bit experimental, but please don't be discouraged to watch the video because of it :)

HD recommended.

Great vid old bean!

You really deserved a landing after the spit kill and the collision with the 109, I put my neck out trying to pull up for you! :-)

Thanks for sharing,

Septic.

That was an amazing night! Just for the hell of it 4 of us grabbed Stuka's and decided to go hammer the target, and almost every sortie we had 109 pilots escorting. Blue had coordinated bomber/fighter groups! It was amusing because most red pilots went and hung behind the Stuka's while the 109's could just easily bounce them as they stood nearly still, and when one of us Stuka pilots went down we could hop in the others tail gun. I really thoroughly enjoyed that and would like to thank everyone who participated as that was the most fun I have had flying in quite a while!

I would love to do this again sometime if we can get a group for Stuka's. I know they aren't the fastest or best bombers, but diving straight down like that is a rush in itself and the fact that they are single engine planes means that we can fly for longer in formation without launcher crashes! Thanks to all involved!

Thankyou Atreides! Smashing film!

And at least you didn't call it 'The Knob'.

I thank you profusely.:dthumb:

Haha - that was awesome. Nice to see some Stuka action :)

Had Dutch been around, I'm sure he would have gone after them with his Blemmy.

Thanks all!
The Isle of Thanet is also called the Knob? I honestly didn't know that. I just got a title for the sequel :coolio:
Btw Headshot, count me in when there's another of these sorties.
