Wow that didn't take long. Though it's still $59.95 on steam. Funny thing is CoD is still $49.95 on steam.

I guess that's the standard edition so you'd have to drop another $12 something each for the premium planes.

The DVD is Standart version - 8 planes - and need STEAM to activate.

The "Premium" planes (La5, Fw 190) still ~20$ each.

These "two free planes" (Loft speech) version is not free of payment.

The DVD version will cost ~12,00$ in Russia (and only there), have two planes (LaGG-3, Bf 109F) "free" - unlocked - for the player unlock - these free of payment - the other 6 Standart planes by playing the "Unlock Campaign", designed for this version.

For the record: IL2 Battle of Stalingrad $59 A Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/IL-2-Sturmovik-Battle-Stalingrad-Windows-Pc/dp/B00PAAPYME/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1415714773&sr=8-3&keywords=IL2+Battle+of+Stalingrad)

There was more to that initial $39.99 offering than just BoS tanking early as some have surmised. It has since been corrected. Just a FYI

It must be different based on what country you are in. In US it is $59.99 as a pre-release purchase and doesn't get released until this Friday, November 14th. This is for a hard copy of game. No download is available through Amazon.

Steam has it for $59.99, available now.
