Was that actually cardboard and not paper? Because I definitely remember making an 8ft x 4ft paper aeroplane from paper whilst at uni and throwing it off the 6th floor of the halls of residence. It failed, miserably, collapsing in on itself. The wing thicknesses there just seem too thick to be normal paper, and if they've composited several sheets together then is it still truly paper, which is defined as 'thin sheets'.

To echo Knuckle though - really - why?

I know why we did it, and it was probably something to do with having several industrial design students hanging out together and the relevant quota of ale.
