View Full Version : Possible Workaround for SweetFX on Win 8.1 - Radeon Pro

My game actually starts now, as opposed to before when dropping the SweetFX files into my root CoD folder. But when I hit the hotkey (scroll lock) to turn it on or off, nothing happens. However, I feel as though the game looks smoother and somewhat crisper at startup. Of note, I did not install the SweetFX files into my CoD folder with the launcher in it. This always prevents the game from starting properly. I put these files into my Softclub folder under documents containing the ATAG mod. I then set my paths in RadeonPro to point at the files in there.

Has anyone else tried this?

You've got me curious now. I have Windows 7 so can't test this but would like to see my latest posted SweetFX HD settings applied to see results, if it could work with Win 8.1 and Nvidia as I don't have Radeon. This could be the breakthrough many are looking for.

Zoony: Are you able to turn it on and off using a designated hotkey?
