So somebody was busy figuring out how to improve the looks of the game, seems they did a good job I'll try it out later tonight. I bet some of you have seen it already, but for those who didn't here it is:

Yep. Works especially well in conjunction with SweetFX to pick out the textures on the map.

yes it works on MP but does not change the LOD dot ranges. they stay the same. about 12km out.

I tried it yesterday in conjunction with sweetfx and got a nice sharp and "even" look now. In the thread they were also experimenting with adding more lines to the ini, apparently this adds more LOD states to it but not sure if it's useful as I don't know how they are spaced out so to speak.

I'm still waiting for manual option to turn off SSAO and that horrible glossy look.
