I proudly can say i learned my wife fly today. She did it well. We tough a tigermoth joined a server and after a short briefing of she goes. With swet in her hands she flew the plane over England. We even shaw smoke coming out of one of the houses.
What she said was .. i see no live stock or people or cars on the roads! Mmmm. She was right.. its empty..
We only look for planes, , and she was looking how nice the ground was going by.
It was fun though.. specialy because she was flying in my cockpit. Greets klu peete

Yea some times I call her my wife ... but she is my girlfriend. . I devorced my , non flying, non nothing funny doing, wife.. and now I have big fun !!

Enlightening Documentary I would recommend watching...These women flew all manner of aircraft throughout the war including Spitfires, Mosquitos, Wellingtons and sometimes without any training in a particular aircraft and only a glance at a handbook before they took off....they even delivered when the weather was so bad that the squads they were delivering to were stood down because of the weather to the amazement of the pilots...

One story was that an ATA girl delivered a bomber to an airfield and the pilots were so disbelieving they went to search the aircraft for the male pilot they suspected had flown it...
