Hi guys,
Is there an easy way to convert American measurement standards to metric? I'm having trouble with guestimating altitudes and when using bomb settings such as: What is 1.7 meters on the bomb site? 1070? 1700?
Thanks

Get 3 numbers and memorize their conversion, then you estimate the rest with more accuracy
http://www.asknumbers.com/KilometersToFeetConversion.aspx
Example: 2 kms = 6,500 feet
3 kms = 10 thousand feet +-
4 kms = 13 thousand feet
Then theres the contrail level, 7,2 kms = 23 thousand feet

Yea put that old feet measerments ideer away. Its 2015.!! We dont messer in feet and hands anymore! !! Its easy.. a big step is 1 meter. 1000th steps is 1 kilometer. 10 kilometer is were the airliners fly.. also were almost the stratusphere bigins..
