There will be a bomber challenge on MAY 9TH, 2015

Time is: 2000 hrs GMT (Players must figure out their own time zone from GMT)

Server #2

Prize: The Sony video editing package is back up for grabs and will be awarded to the person who submits the best movie of the event. A thread will be created with details about the contest the day of the event.

Map: Hexenkessel

Server password is implemented and will be issued by the lead in the ready room.
Server slots are limited to 40 on each side and “by name” individual registration is necessary.
A private ready room is available for team strategic planning. Access will be given to confirmed participants.

To provide for equal play opportunity, each aircraft slot is 1st come 1st serve.

All players must be on server # two - 30 minutes to game time or their slot will be given to a standby player.

BTW, perhaps we should include some Bf-110s? They'd be useful if the 109s run out of fuel, and their larger firepower would make them ideal for intercepting the RAF bombers, especially if they attacked them round-the-clock (as they take off, as they're in transit, as they attack, as they land).

Sorry gents, not this time around. This is just 88's and Blenheims with fighter escort/intercept only... This is a bomber mission after all and we can't just let everyone get to fly what they want in the mission or things would go south real fast.(I'm wishing for the beaufighter eventually, TF wink, wink, nudge, nudge :))

So this challenge is really for bomber pilots and with 109's and spits that want to escort friendlies or hunt enemy bombers. Straight and simple and to the point. Having said that, I think we will incorporate other fighter/bombers. like the 110 and Blenheim IVF for example in future challenges, and yes even the JU-87 for certain targets.

Ok no probs StormBat. I only ever fly the 110 as an interceptor but will wait until a future campaign when hopefully its available to join in.
