Nice. I wonder what the resolution will be.

I still can't see how I could use this for flight simming. I can't see my keyboard or other peripherals for these more complex sims.

Does anyone see a way to use this with complex simulations that can not be operated 100% HOTAS? I've used the prototype version that my friend owns and was thrilled with it for FPS and other games with simple controls. I just can't see myself buying this without a solution to this problem.

There will probably be work arounds but honestly, people don't give their minds and motor skills enough credit. It will become just like typing after a while and you'll know where and what to push without looking.

Obviously a HOTAS is the way to go with minimal keyboard keys, I think all my switches in my cockpit will come in handy even more due to their location and different type/styles.

I'd guess 2 years after VR really gets going there will be finger/hand sensors that you will be able to use to actually move and switch things with your avatars arms and get feedback through those fingertip sensors.

I don't know, I must admit I am feelling a bit frightened right now because it all looks so frigging real. You won't need home grown genetically altered vegetables or mildly wet tiny pieces of paper any more to visit fantasy worlds that promise to scare the hell out of you! And the whole experience threatens to be no less addictive! :) I simply can't wait!

Set up your area to be able to find your controls easy. Can you type without looking?

Mark buttons to feel different like an Apache Gunship. Every buttong feels different so you know what it is by feel. Also, you will get used to where everything is if you build a dedicated pit. If it doesn't move muscle memory will allow you to remember where things are.

I don't care if the Rift makes me puke. I'll keep a bucket by the chair until I'm used to it. This is going to be so, so rad.

Gaming and flight simming are about to change big time. I've been waiting for this moment my whole life.
