I am trying create a Bf 108 skin to resemble the "Aldons" used by RAF.

But have hard time to find where is the rudder/vertical fin lines to apply the camouflage. Anyone has templates?

I don't have a ready-template as such, I use my own, made of very many layers, with many tiny parts etc.

I'll send the 2 'official templates', which aren't actually multi-layered templates at all, but they show the outline of the aircraft and the rivets and you can use them to make your own template.

Check your PMs

If you need any more help I'll be back here after 1 week (I'm away on a trip for a while).

Hat for you guys that do these nice skins.

Match those lines is headache. I am not able to find where is this rectangle on base of stabilizer to paint. :stunned:

My first - and certainly the last :D - skin, a fake Miles Master.

EDIT - Slight better, paint the "puzzled" canopy frames, but some small parts still hard to find, the don't have lines around...

Admittedly very poor, too "shine", but for now fill the purpose.

Hi 1lokos
Use PANELFINDER to locate individual Elements on the Template, but even with PANELFINDER however it can still
be difficult to read the Numbers especially on small parts,so what I do once I have narrowed down roughly where the part is with PANELFINDER
I then create a new layer and call it say MARKERS and then with the Paint brush I mark with Different colours then go into the Plane Viewer and see which
Colour has marked the part I want to Paint.
Its a bit trial and error but it works..

Here it is,just size the Layer to the Template dimensions and turn down the Opacity until Transparent:http://www.mediafire.com/download/q6p4f3o2r2ft76v/PANEL+FINDER.rar

Very nice! Well done.
It is a difficult skin to do. I remember that the canopy-framing was a problem, but you seem to have found a way to do it. Let me know if you need to locate any other parts. The colours look very good.
