Hi everybody, I'm new to the game and I have some questions to ask (I'm still struggling to handle a Spit):

- I can't manage to change the mixture level from 0% (either with the mouse on the lever or with the keyboard), is that normal?
- I can't find a dial for the rudder trim, is there a way to know what is its state?
- When I switch off the engines (by closing the fuel cock), a red led lights up (fuel pressure warning) and I can't manage to start the engines again (the "I" key doesn't work anymore).
What is the procedure to switch off the engines and start them successively?

Thanks!

You have the Complex Engine Management ticked in Options > Difficult?

From TF Wiki - Spitfire: "CARBURETOR MIXTURE

The engine is equipped with a carburettor which allows the pilot to select either 'Rich' or 'Lean' mixtures. 'Rich' mixture is used in all normal situations, takeoff, landing, climb, combat. 'Lean' mixture is only used to conserve fuel in level flight Cruise settings, and only when boost is set to '+1' or lower, and rpms to 2600 or lower. Use of 'Lean' mixture setting at higher rpms or boost will result in the destruction of the engine."

Left side of cockpit, the small black dial (labeled "Bias" in the picture bellow), this respond for mouse click to adjust (or use key/buttons) but is not animated, so is more practical use keys for trim and set a key for reset this trim, as there's no way to know how much trim is applied of if are neutral - besides if plane fly straight or not (the trim purpose). :)

For the Spit and Hurri you can use the "Slow-running cut-off" until engine stop, then switch off fuel cock, magnetos...

A tip, go to Options > Controls > Keys > Aircraft and map the Alt+I for this function, so you start Spit/Hurri engine with "I" and stop with Alt+I (press and hold). For all other planes switch off the magnetos (in G-50 is possible only with keys).

Spit II has a bug with the propeller, that dont stop to spin and make difficult the engine really stop (show the blue message on screen), so you cant start then again (until dont see the message), for the others versions no problem.

Hey guys. Thank you very much for the welcome and help.

Yes 1Lokos, the first thing I did when I started the game for the first time had been to replicate the ATAG server realism settings.

About the mixture, I found my answer here:

Buzzsaw, already stamped ;)
