OK it's not a sim but this game has been quite a surprise for me at only $1.99 during Steam summer sale. Build your own air defense network and watch the Luftwaffe try to beat it. My only complaint is the map is all of England so the actual BoB battle area plays a tiny part but this simple little game is still a blast and crazy addictive. :thumbsup:

Lol yeah it crazy. I got it a while back, played until I just couldn't possibly defend anything and so quit for all eternity. It's impossible to keep veteran squads. Or any squads. Maybe I'm just terrible at it. I paid ~5 bucks and still feel I got my money worth though! :thumbsup:

I took a beating at first but learned the thing to do is use your Spits to pull the 109s away from the bombers then your Hurricanes have a free run at the bombers. Or just load up on coastal AAA and there won't be any escorts left once the bombers get inland. I rarely lost a plane on most days of the 10 day campaign. I just started a 25 day campaign so we'll see how that goes with the same tactics but all good through the first few days.
