HI Guys,

I am just wondering if ever someone took a Music midi controller and transformed it into a controller for your plane??

The faders and knobs come quite handy for many controls.

Anyone?

Thanks

Yes I did,

That article is from 4 years ago... apparently software has changed and it's outdated now.
I would really like to know if anyone has this setup and can help me out with my midi controller.
Thanks

1 - Flight games are programmed to "see" HID controllers (joystick & cia), mouse, keyboards.

2 - MIDI controller don't fit in any of above types, so you need a software for translate his inputs in keystrokes to be see in the game. Similar to use Saitek toggle swicht's panels in other flight games besides FSX, XPlane, since this controller is not "joystick" and have plugin only for these two games.

PPJoy - used to create a virtual joystick with the MIDI device, still available: http://sethioz.com/download.php?view.229

Looks like that GlovePie too: http://glovepie.org/forum/index.php?sid=05bba5f8e9ef062bf54d4d23f40e7b27

Try with other keymapper like Autohotkey, JoyToKey, SVMapper, Xpadder.
