And now we think youve been waiting long enough!

The second part of our tonights update is the fresh beta patch.

We didnt complete the readme in time. Please refer to previous updates to some info on whats been done. Well provide a better readme next week.

Quick points:
Beta versions are incompatible online
FM work is far from over, we still have a long laundry sheet to go through.

Your mission for tonight: test all elements of the game. Especially focus on performance, any crashes, or any graphical glitches. Send all logs and crash dumps to ishevchenko@1cpublishing.eu

Too bad I can't test it till tonight when i get back home.
There's also an update thread with some screenshots of "the sequel", but it has no info so don't think it's as important to copy here.

That sendspace thing is disgraceful. Tried to take over my bloody pc. Had to do a system restore to try again from the other one.

I just hate that kind of thing :grrr:

Yikes, Dutch! I chose the second link only because I figured the first one would be swamped. The 2nd one is slow as molasses though. :(

Sadly I won't be able to fly it till tonight!!!

Anyhow, I'll try to get some of the new plane variants in the missions, but I won't be able to do it until I get off work!

This download is slower than Molasses in January! But I've already done the Steam Integrity thing which puts me back to the "Official" version.

I want to test the 100 octane/12 lbs boost and cloud framerate hits.

One person in the 1C forums mentioned that the gyro/compass in the JU-88 now works.

Anybody verify if this is true yet?

That was Blackdog, and he should know if it works, as he flies the ju88 all the time!
The sendspace link nearly caught me out as well, as soon as I saw it D/L a small file I deleted it quick and went with the other one.There are a few mirrors appearing at 1C now from users.

I also read that some new scripting variables are available that will help create better bombing objectives and tracking of them......do you have that implemented yet also? I mean, your server was updated about 1 hour after the patch was released.....what is taking you guys so long? LOL

And what is more, is that the system restore wiped out all the HSFX installation, because it's not listed in 'programmes affected'.

Downloaded the patch from http://www.senect.com/hadal/files/il...2COD_18301.rar (one of the options given on the developers forum). Installed it after reverting my game to the last official patch. My version number remains at 1,05 even after following the multistep plan. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Well, I unzipped the patch into the Cliffs of Dover folder, but it was my C:\Users\***\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder instead of my D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder where it apparently should've been extracted into.

Gotta love patches without a readme or installation manual at release.:wtf:
