This is a full rewrite of the stock RAF campaign replacing the old bugged version.

REDUX campaigns feature missions designed by Heinkill, with scripting by Bolox and Gabuzomeu, giving you a historically based pilot career with campaign kill counts, medals and promotions.

The TF MOD version has been enhanced with high altitude missions, new objects and different aircraft types including 100 Octane RAF and LW fighters.

If you have a campaign in progress, you can just install straight over

Can someone help the thicky please?

I ran the installer taking all the defaults and can find no change in my installation of IL2 COD. I was expecting (probably wrongly) for the "Campaign" to be swapped out on the "Single Player" selection from main screen. However, following running RAFRedux4TFMod.exe nothing appears changed unless the campaign pops out somewhere else in the game's menus?

I must be doing something crazy.

Can someone advise please?

Got it. The campaign_gb folder was put (by default) in my "documents" folder. When moved to the right place it worded just fine.

I thought that I'd done something stupid. . . I never learn.

Thanks, heinkill. Familiar handle...I seem to recall your name from the IL2 FB days....I just picked up CoD, haven't flown in a while, and due to many reasons, only intend to do so offline. Have spent a week trying to get this thing running, finally, with the TF patches, it now works on my Windows 8 machine...even my track ir 4 and my CH setup...so, after extensive re-training here, I look forward to trying a good campaign!

If I have installed it correctly is it basically easy to see if you have done it right because I don't see any difference in the stock campaign when I go to play the RAF side... ?

Had to rebuild my machine and reinstall everything after Win 10 MS patch disaster.

The redux RAF campaign is great. (Much better than the original which was ridiculous). I've played it a couple of times through. What's really cool is the historical accuracy.

Being new to CloD, could you advise as to where ‘the right place’ is.. what is the correct folder location? Just don’t want to mess up my new install, but would like to try this campaign that I’ve read so much about.
