Sukhoi SU-26 Skins

[69th_Turn]

Here's the stock SU-26 striped paint scheme, except in purple, green or black.

Nothing fancy. I simply created these to help opponents identify each other during Sukhoi air-racing events on ATAG server 2, for those guys who don't want to create their own custom skin. Combined with the game's built-in 'blue stripes', 'red stripes' and battle camo schemes, we now have six unique colors to choose from.

Download all three JPGs to your ...\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\PaintSchemes\Skins\Su-26M\ folder, and rename them to something meaningful. EX: Green Stripes.jpg, etc.

You may also need to enable custom skins by editing your conf.ini file in your ...\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\ folder. Change SkinDownload=0 to SkinDownload=1. If that line doesn't exist, then simply add it to the bottom of your [NET] section.

Even though i say so myself i really like this skin. It reminds me of all those 60s and 70s war and spy films where crosses were painted on anything chasing or attacking someone or something on the ground.

Take off the crosses and replace with stylised fascist iconography of you choice (crossed hammers, your initials in black on a red background etc) and you're instantly a James bond villain with an air force of somewhat dubious fighters flown by glamorous women in tight racing overalls and ankle boots.....i'll stop there......
