Ammo counters on-screen

Is there a mod which would show the ammo counter(s) directly on the screen?

Not as yet. Cannon armed Luftwaffe fighters have a counter for cannon rounds on the panel.
Would be great if some clever person could creat a timer for how long the machine gun trigger has been pulled.
At present many pilots just put in some coloured tracer for the last 25-50 residual rounds to warn that they are almost out.

Spit/Hurri has only 14 seconds of fire, be thrifty and only shoot when you're sure to hit. :D

You can use Devicelink on second monitor, tablet, smartphone, and show this info (besides other) for Luftwaffe fighters and G-50 - planes that have ammo counter in RL. See related topic.

I thought the RAF provided you with a stopwatch in the cockpit??
The stop watch does work and I have used it with a short key!

Yes, you can set the panel stopwatch with SVmapper.

Set joy button 1 - trigger - to start the stopwach on "mapped key on press" and to stop on "mapped key on release".

So every time you fire MG's the stopwatch count - and while you are looking at stopwatch the check available ammo the bandit hit you from behind. roflmao
