Hi All,
Many thanks for this great campaign!!!
Here some comments and some tips:
For short missions with much action I use use settings:
East map, Erprobungsgruppe 210, Wissant airfield, BF109-E3B (one campaign file modified), 20-50 planes, skill 5-9
I fly with realistic settings (no padlock, no object/map icons but with ai plane control) and it's no problem to find enemy planes during flight.
-Additional planes for unit: for BF109 Jabos I added the planes to playerAircraft.SECTION
-Missions types flown in campaign: can be modified in: missionTypes.SECTION
-Customizing of next campaign mission:
I have links to current.briefing and current.mis on desktop to have quick access.
To have some templates for Settings (loadouts, attack commands) I created with the fmb a jabo.mis and a further link on the desktop.
-General procedure:
-After I have flown the first mission I quit CLOD
-I open current.briefing and see of what type is the next Mission.
-if required I can modify the current.mis
-modifying Jabo loadouts (SC250 for low Level attack):
-add:
Weapons 1 1 3
Detonator Bomb.SC-250_Type1_J 2 -1 0
to the players airgroup in current.mis (I don't the delete the row JaboWeapons 1 1 1 4)
-fly Jabo as a wingman (AI should attack according waypoints):
-Change player BoB_LW_ErprGr210F.000 to player BoB_LW_ErprGr210F.003 (a case of a 4 planes schwarm)
-AI should attack planes on ground (small bug in campaign)
-by Default the coordinates for the area attack are the same coordinates of a british Group. But in the reality on these coordinates are no planes when the AI attack occurs.
-My solution (one times tested - worked):
-use GATTACK_TARG ... Staticxyz 0 /GAttackPasses _2 instead of area attack
-find the default area attack coordinates in the mission file
-search for a stationary plane near these coordinates (one the same airfield) and get his staticxyz number
-modify the attack waypoint of players Group to (example/not the correct coordinates):
GATTACK_TARG 276531.47 152899.63 500.00 300.00 Static61 0 /GAttackPasses _2
-fly the Mission as a wingman that the other AI planes attack independent.
-Skill of players Group (small bug)
-Default skill of players Group is always 0.5 0.5 ...
-copy the skill row from an other fighter Group in the current.mis
