I've had this series on my PC for a while now and ended up uploading part 1 for a certain 1C-thread about the "Vulcherization" of Hawkinge.
If there's interest I'll upload the other 19 parts and post them here for ATAG's viewing pleasure.
It covers different machinery such as radar, bombers, U-boats, carriers, MG's, tanks,... aswell as episodes that focus on the men involved.
It will be a slow process as each part takes about 4hours to up due to my my crappy upload, but I should be able to do 1-2episodes every night.
Let me know if you want to see the rest and I'll do my best to upload them all.

Figured people would like these so I'll keep uploading till they are all done. From E11 to E20 will be more about machinery, till then it's "The man/men who...."
Have a little extra about a nice German ship too which I'll add once all 20 eps are up.

Episode 8 is special to me as my own grandfather on fathers side was liberated from Buchenwald (http://www.scrapbookpages.com/buchenwald/Liberation.html) by the US sixth armored division on April 11, 1945.
He had been moved there on May 8th '44 (coincidentally May 8th is my brother's birthday too) after spending a few months in Breendonk, Belgium first. He said Breendonk was much worse and the Belgian
guards were a lot crueler and their interrogations were rough.
Together with his older brother he lead a local resistance cell which raided german depots for food, blank ID-papers and according to stories even blew the rails from under a german supply train.
The police came for his brother one day, but he wasn't home so they took him as they suspected he was involved as well. He tried hiding behind straw bales in the stable attic but eventually they found him.
Sadly his wife didn't allow him to tell many of his stories to us as it was old history and she didn't want him(or us kids) reliving it all..he himself liked talking about it and even was a guide at Breendonk for years.
His diary was also lent out to a historian once and lost..so I don't know even half of what I'd like to know about what he did or what he lived through.
When he was finally freed his friends had to carry him out and he spent a month at a hospital as he was flesh over bone and according to the doctors just days from starving.
He also had a 10cm metal tip of a whip embedded above his left wrist for the rest of his life, so I'll be forever grateful that he was freed just on time.
But time for the actual video's now...

Thx for sharing that Warhound. A real pity about the diary. That would have been an asset to any War Memorial museum.
Thx again for the uploads, been really enjoying them.

Sadly youtube blocks this clip outside the US..so sorry to those who can't watch it.

It such a waste of time to block this or that. It is seen in every country any ways. I suppose governments have to create "make work" jobs just so they can say they created jobs.

I agree that it's useless Doc, mostly it's even free advertising for them but the corporate world sees it differently.
I've been uploading more vid's over the last few days and made them all public just now. Let's hope the channel stays up...
Video's include things like a hurricane docu, 109 docu, Ju-87 docu and lots more..check it out if you liked the previous uploads. More will be added as I find and upload them.
