Just been using your server for the past week since the awesome patch, just wanted to say thank you for the kindness of running a great server.

I will be mostly flying the Blenheim to start while I figure it's bombsight out, so see you guys in the sky!

Hi there Muesli and welcome to the forum.

Glad you're enjoying the server. There's a few of us like the Blemmy so you'll have company I hope. They need to introduce a better view from the bomb-aimer's position and some sort of stabilizer or auto-pilot, in my humble etc.

I don't know whether that's historical but my attempts at level bombing are certainly hysterical! To paraphrase some wag over at 1c "I'm sure the pilot having to hop over to the bomb-aimer's seat during the attack isn't historical either".

Good-luck, have fun.

Hello mate and welcome to the forum! :)

You said the right thing there. You said 'Blenheim'!

There are lots of chaps who've done all the hard stuff already, so don't go through it all on your ownsome. Where abouts in the world are you? Timezones and all that?

I usually fly during the day GMT time, between 12pm and 3pm. I have the Blenheim nearly worked out, just need to find the targets a bit easier on the server. :)

Roger Dodger Muesli. Finding the targets is easy, once you master the nav tools in the map screen, and note the grid reference of each target. See vids here;

And Here;

They really work those tools, so it's well worth mastering them and the course setter/compass.

Ha, I watched those previously and had a go the other day. I got as far drawing the line and then not being able to remember the rest. :) I will have to watch it several times before it sinks into my brain.

You're not alone there Meusli old chap, I blame substance induced early onset dementia leading to short-term memory deficit coupled with a poor education, which was too long ago. Now, what was I writing about? No, its gone.
