Some of the trees look more square than they are because of a shading issue with the 3d models. I think one side of the shader on the model is flipped. I've noticed a few shading issues here and there. They've fixed some, and broken others. It's an Alpha, so there will be some kinks.

Particular species of trees in southeast asia do have 'corners', that is they come to an angle, but this is not exactly square or consistent.

Perhaps this is what they are trying to replicate.

Either way, looks good. I've never played a Vietnam War game before, but I've heard plenty about the war itself.
