Yeah thas why I gotta fire up IL2 1946 HSFX6 every now and then. I miss these babies too much.

Used to fly the P-38 a lot in old IL2 myself. Lotsa speed, lotsa ordnance.

It was pretty much the only American a/c I had any success with, apart from the Wildcat. All the single engined fighters are pretty much B&Z fighters, which isn't really my bag. Whilst it works, I find it boring.

American fighters seem to be like American Motorbikes, built for straight lines only............:hide:
