Ok, I downloaded the game yesterday and I take it all back.

This game is not "pretty cool." This game is incredible!

I don't think I've played a space fighter game this good since Wing Commander. This game blew my mind. I have no idea how something this quality is free.

Anyhow, I'm going to go grab a dust pan so I can collect the bits of my my brain that are scattered all over my apartment now.

It's been in the making for about 5 years with people constantly asking "when will it be ready?" with the standard answer of "when is ready" (sounds familiar? :D)

One thing is that they did not lack people helping. Everything from voice actors, game engine programmers, 3d modelers, sounds, music etc. are people working on their spare time.
