Simply put, the gaming macro key is a recording of a series of key sequences. A key sequence is a series of keyboard keystrokes, mouse actions, or menu actions that is bound to a command.
In Cliffs of Dover this is an easy way to 'TAB - 7 - 1' with one key to check what contacts there are within 15 miles of you.
The 'MacroGamer' is a small free progam.
How to install and use
1) Download 'MacroGamer' from this link. You need to click on the 'Setup Installer' and save it to your PC. Then open it and follow the instructions.

2) Once it is installed to your PC you should see the 'MG' icon on your desktop. Right click the icon and 'Run as Administrator' and you will see this. You will always need to 'Run as Administrator'.

3) You need to then hit 'Create New' and you will see this screen.

Write a description in the 'Name' box. It doesn't matter what it is but just use letters and numbers. Something like 'TAB71' will do.
4) Now hit 'Start Recording' and type in slowly 'Tab 7 1'...Once you have done that you can hit 'Stop Recording'. If you have done this slow enough you should see a delay between each line and should look something like this.

5) You now need to bind a key that will be the one you click on ingame to make the macro work. Make sure you don't use a letter or number as the game will not be able to recognise that key for what it usually is ingame so writing in the chat will be a problem. You can use an 'F' key although the macro won't allow you to use 'F2' as that is its default key to Start/Stop. You can change the default key by clicking 'View' and then 'Settings' on the opening screen. Click 'Bind a Key' and then click the key toy want to make your activation key.
6) To make the macro smooth and the delays not too long I found that you can set them all to '0.30'. If you set them lower than this the game won't recognise them as they will be too fast and if your PC is slower then you may need to raise this number to '0.50' or higher. Click on the delay on the left and it will appear in the 'Delay' box for you to raise or lower.

7) Now click 'OK' to finish your macro editing.
8) You may close the 'Macrogamer' but it will need to be opened before your game starts and then hit 'RUN'. This should then work ingame. Close it after your game has finished.
As with any tutorials please let me know if this works, doesn't work or has issues..or is good... I only learned how to do this today so thought I'd share it with you....Hope it helps...~S~
