Clipped wing Spitfires in TF 5.0?

Just wondering if we will be seeing clipped wing Spits in the next patch. Being a person who prefers fighting at low altitudes I would gladly take a performance hit at high altitudes to gain the roll rate, low alt. top speed, and dive performance of the CW Spits. Also, on a different note, a big thanks to all the TF members who take out of their time to make this amazing game better for the rest of us. I only wish I had the modelling and coding skills to help out.

The clipped wing Spitfires will arrive at the same time as the 190A's and 109G's... these versions of the Spitty were created in response to the 190's and their phenomenal rollrate.

And that will be TF 6.0... assuming the TF group doesn't get burnt out by TF 5.0 and give up the project. :crazyeyes:

Thanks, makes sense. I just wish they coud get here sooner. :( Oh well, at least there's a Martlet, Kittyhawk, and Spit Mk V coming, so it's all good.

Burn out....a big possibility....Some folks don't know what they got til its gone...they paved paradise...and put up a parking lot...Whoops...got a bit carried away there for a moment...anyway...you got the gist...take your time fellas...we can do without the pushers....we can't do without you...Those that want it that bad can wait the time it takes...if they're worth their salt.....~S~

Burnout is a big concern, and why many of us who desperately want it won't push for it.
We know you guys spend time working for free, for us. Time that you could spend having a lot more fun than coding.

HA !! I had a clipped wing Blenheim... with a clipped right prop and a clipped engine cowling....

It definately improved the clockwise roll rate

and i stiill landed it... cartwheel style !! and survived !
