Poles were the most numerous foreign contingent in the RAF and contributed heavily to the winning of the battle.

Along with the other pilots from countries under Nazi occupation and the Commonwealth pilots, they should always be remembered and honoured by the British. :thumbsup:

I think that article misses one thing - I am not judging or blaming, as it is always about politics. Just the history we can learn from.

Polish pilots were invited to participate in London Victory Celebrations of 1946. They refused to participate in protest against the omission of the other branches of the Polish forces:
