Awesome update. Really shows how much work you guys put into this. The only thing I don't like is that new .303 sound effect! I thought it was proved somewhere that the ones we have now are very realistic already. I hope they don't change.

This is simply....STAGGERING! 'Enhanced cockpit effects'.....?...they're already unbelievable now and you can improve on near perfection? Every time we step into the cockpit it'll be like going to an Imax Cinema! Except we're all in the screen!

I'm genuinely impressed. This video got me more excited than I have been in a long time.


The only thing I didn't like was the internal gun sounds. Don't get me wrong, the samples are a lot better than previous but in the video they were too overbearing in volume to be realistic. It would be nice to have an optional pack of those same sounds that's a tad more muted. Spoilered because I didn't want to be a wet blanket

Where aircraft such as the Hawker Tempest was used and jetjageren Gloster Meteor

RAF pilot t. d. Dean was the 04. August 1944 the first pilot that destroyed a V1, when he tipped the driverless aircraft off course.

Awesome work guys! The video itself is really well put together, I watched it on my iPad last night, and I'm going to watch it on the big TV this morning!

As others have mentioned, this would be a fantastic marketing vehicle to promote Cliffs to a larger audience and increase the number of pilots online at any one time.

I've been flying IL2 (poorly) since the very first release of the title, and I've never been so excited about the development of it as I am now. Thank you Team Fusion!! I'm blown away by the quality this sim!

Lots of work piecing all of that together so thank you very much Mystic. I wonder if that was from the current beta?

Like many I've been here from the start, bought the expensive boxed version and tried to look past the problems. I started online flying when IL2 came out and what a series, I was so disappointed when they walked away after CLOD looked like a diamond in the rough..very rough. I guess some talented lads...now Team Fusion felt the same and what a shine they've given her.

We've had some of those improvements already and what a difference (disappearing aircraft..ghosts, for one) and I didn't know about some of these other improvements in the pipeline. Really love the new contrails, mirrors and improved particle effects. I love flying about and around in clouds...I don't know why! :thumbsup:

are the new contrails visible from far away? I don't know if it's because of my bad pc or something, but i often fly in an empty sky, climbing up to get the E, and then all of a sudden i have contrails all around me just a few miles away and i become an easy prey, just wondering if it is something to look for in tf5 ^_^"

I´ve seen the video again in slomo and i´ve only seen 2 planes in a big blowing HITexplosion.

But that are not the LAST days of Team Fusion.....Its just the beginning (....i hope:idea:).

We're all excited about TF5.0 and sometimes our piss-taking of when it will get released must wear thin with those who spend countless hours working on it.
I can't wait to see the exhibition that TF5.0 will be. But I most humbly wait with the excitement and anticipation of a child before christmas.

That's what it's like..I would start to go wacko days before Christmas lol. When you're still young 7 8 9 10 as soon as you get out of that hell hole called school it's like you're living on a different planet for two and a half weeks..in my opinion :)

We in TF appreciate it's been a very long haul. It has been for us as well as you. Team members have come and gone in the time it has taken to create this but a core remain to complete the journey.

Depending how v5.00 is received we expect to continue on to v6.00 (much quicker as we will have all the tools and a much better understanding of the workings of the software).

One of our guys is already working on a new aircraft for v6.00 and it looks incredible and sure to be a love affair for the Allied pilots....but don't despair Axis chaps because you will be getting a 190 to cause trouble for them :) (looking forward to the cockpit glass refraction and bar conversations, oh dear!

Anyway, currently we have to apologise for the lack of updates, there is a tremendous amount of stuff gong on behind the scenes and will.probably be a big update in itself very soon.

Whenever it will come it will be like Christmas, Birthday and Easter at the same time for most of us.

Still better to hear about the plans for 6.0. The 'new allied aircraft' thing makes me really, really curious. But the FW 190 ... well this bird might definetely tempt me to fly blue from time to time, we'll see.
