Hi everyone,
Basically, the only rule we have on ATAG Teamspeak is no swearing/obscenity/abusive language on the main Blue and Red channels. It's only common sense since we proudly host players of varying ages and backgrounds. Other channels are unrestricted; in fact we have the "ATAG Bar & Grill" channels designated for those who utilize salty language in comms. Have at it! :D
One gray area that borders on "abusive" is unintentional by some: non-stop commentary. I'm not referring to the good-natured back-and-forth ribbing or joking that can make the game fun. Rather, it's the unfiltered play-by-play continuously uttered by a player caught up in the excitement of the moment. Please, as the Brits would say, "Put a sock in it!" Other players don't want to hear it, and may need to report something themselves -- except the channel is jammed.
Thanks to all for your consideration on this matter.
Cheers and good flying,
Snapper :salute:
