Hi

Just in case any skinners didnt know, many of the ORIGINAL BOS skin templates are at least partly compatible with those of CLOD (some variation in part location and of course variant types). Later BOM templates seem to take a different path. There would be some jigging around and editing required and im saying this only for your information at im not sure what 777 studios would have to say about their templates being used outside of their games.

However, with the upcoming 109Fs and E7s for CLOD, it could possibly something that skinners could utilise to benefit the communities of both sims.

All skin templates seem to have the UV wire frames also.

That "jigging around" would be the logo they placed on the tail (amongst other things). Unlike CloD where the placement (or not) of the swastika is optional the little thing on the BoS tail has to be masked out on the skins as IT is made into the skin. We, here at ATAG, have a tool to allow this to be place (for historical accuracy) or not due to constraints of various countries and folks tastes. The rest as you say, may fit fine.

Its just another layer in the template and so can be switched on or off (cut and paste it from the markings layer to a new layer if you want it as a stand alone option). As such you can just have a blank tail or the icon or the full thing. The jigging is largely down to the placement of a number of parts on the skin (either by a few pixels or a completely different location.
